Schuette: “Moolenaar is a trusted, proven conservative.”
MIDLAND, MI — Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette today announced his
endorsement of John Moolenaar for Congress in Michigan’s 4th Congressional District to replace retiring Congressman Dave Camp.
“At a critical time for America, it is absolutely essential that we have a proven, trusted conservative who has fought for Michigan,” said Schuette. “John Moolenaar is a trusted, proven conservative who has fought Obamacare, health care exchanges and Medicaid expansion. With John Moolenaar you have a rock solid conservative who has proven he will stand up for conservative principals in Washington.”
Schuette continued, “With Washington trying to take over our healthcare system and our schools, we need a proven conservative like John Moolenaar. John Moolenaar is the only candidate endorsed by Michigan Right to Life and the Michigan Farm Bureau."
John Moolenaar said he is honored to receive the endorsement, adding, “Bill Schuette was an excellent Congressman for Mid-Michigan and is someone I strongly admire. As Attorney General he fought Obamacare all the way to the Supreme Court and I will join him in that battle and work every day as a Congressman to repeal Obamacare.”
Bill Schuette was Congressman for the 4th Congressional District of Michigan from 1985 to 1991. He has been Michigan’s Attorney General since 2011. John Moolenaar currently serves in the State Senate and is running for Congress in the 4th Congressional District of Michigan.
